Though a sister to the Winter house for its interplay of classical and prairie influences, Page Farm stands out with its butterfly roof. Collected rain water is carried in two directions into large downspouts incorporated in the facade's design. Soaring from inside out, engineered timber frames make up the eaves and wings of the butterfly. The interior spaces radiate from the gracious central half cylindrical stairs.
